Two Part Wedding at The Chimney House, Sheffield // Emma + Bob Pt.1

When Emma + Bob contacted me at the beginning of the year to say they were having a two part wedding, the first part being at Sheffield Town Hall followed by The Chimney House at Kelham Island with family and close friends then .. part two being a party at The Hide I was so excited! Both The Chimney House AND The Hide were on my wish list of venues to photograph in my home city and to do both in one weekend I was thrilled!

I arrived at the Town Hall to meet Bob and the family, everyone was super chilled and welcomed me as though I was a guest! Emma arrived with her lovely Dad and Bob's daughter / chief bridesmaid / flower girl / bride tribe all wrapped into one! The ceremony was lovely and Bob's sister stood up to do a reading by poet John Cooper Clarke called I wanna be yours (there's also a rendition of this done by Arctic Monkeys). Once Emma and Bob were officially Mr + Mrs we all jumped on an amazing vintage red bus to take us over to the Chimney House at Kelham Island! It was a lovely sunny day so everyone milled around outside with a glass of fizz until it was time to go inside for a beautiful meal! This first part of Emma + Bob's wedding celebrations was shared with just their family and closest friends, enjoying a relaxed meal to celebrate the marriage of the new Mr + Mrs Hobson! I left them to enjoy their lovely food and recharged my batteries for the following evening! .. // Part two to follow!
