Lauren and Conor said their I Do's at the wonderful Donington Park Farmhouse, a late October wedding and the theme was perfectly autumnal!
Both Lauren and Conor got ready at the venue and I was lucky enough to have my wonderful sister / fellow photographer with me, Beth, whilst I captured Lauren and the gals, Beth captured Conor and his pals getting ready on the opposite side of the farmhouse! I think it's really lovely to have Groom preparations captured as well as the usual Bridal shots, I usually recommend opting for a second shooter if you wish to have this covered, especially if the separate parties are going to be in different locations!
At L + C's pre-wedding shoot, Lauren had told me all about their details and autumnal touches they had planned and seeing them come together at the venue was amazing. The barn at Donington Park Farmhouse was where they held the ceremony and the room was filled with twinkling lights and glowing LOVE letters which lit up the barn beautifully - there are no windows in the barn so these touches really helped create some beautiful ambient lighting for the ceremony. It started off as a pretty miserable day weather wise, luckily right after the ceremony the rain stopped and we were able to get outside for some confetti fun, family photos and some couple portraits! Speeches and the meal took place in the old pig sties, which is full of character! Then we headed back into the Threshing Barn for a party!!
