I travelled down to Southampton the night before, meeting Nancy & Dalley for the first time after a recommendation from Nancy's cousin, Chloe whose wedding I photographed in 2014. After not having a great few weeks on the run up to the wedding Nancy was feeling nervous about their day and on the morning decided she didn't feel like having photographs taken during preparations at her Nan's house, I went straight over to Woodland's Lodge where I met them there.
The hotel was lovely, being in heart of the New Forest it is surrounded by beautiful woodland and the style of the decor has a country house feel to it.
Nancy and Dalley decided they would have a private ceremony with their parents to witness their marriage and celebrations would begin with the rest of their lovely guests once they were officially Mr & Mrs!
As soon as they said their I do's Nancy's nerves subsided and congratulations & celebrations began! Nancy and Dalley went for a rustic theme for the wedding details, with candles in lovely jars wrapped in lace & hessian along with wooden logs and Gypsophila centre pieces. We managed to get outside for some gorgeous couple shots, Nancy had a gorgeous lace parasol to shelter from the light showers.
Once they had their wedding breakfast we made our way back to Nancy's Grandparents house for the evening, where Nancy's Dad put on a great BBQ! The garden was transformed with a marquee, decorated with lots of lovely fairy lights - it was just wonderful!
